The Company following the resolution of the Board of Directors dated 22.06.2016, has voluntarily decided to follow the Hellenic Corporate Governance Code, which has been drafted at the initiative of Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) and has subsequently been amended in the context of its first review by the Hellenic Corporate Governance Council (HCG Council) on 28 June 2013.
The Hellenic Corporate Governance Council (HCGC) was established in 2012 as a non-profit company with the joint initiative of Athens Stock Exchange (ATHEXGROUP) and the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV). Their shared vision, for the sustained competitiveness of Greek corporations and enhanced credibility of the Greek market, led to the recognition of the significance of corporate governance. Regular members of the HCGC are the ATHEX, SEV, Hellenic Banking Association, the Hellenic Fund and Asset Management Association and the Hellenic Corporation of Asset and Participation.
In June 2021, the Hellenic Corporate Governance Code was issued for companies with securities listed on the stock exchange market in accordance with article 17 of law 4706/2020 and article 4 of the Decision of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission (HCMC) (Decision 2/905 / 3.3.2021 of the Board of HCMC). The new code replaces the Hellenic Corporate Governance Code for Listed Companies issued in 2013 by ESED and it is now posted on the website of the Hellenic Corporate Governance Council, at the address: http://www.esed.org.gr/code-listed
